Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Lake Manyara: D
You will be met at the airport and in the afternoon depart from Arusha and head towards Lake Manyara National Park. You will arrive at the Lake Manyara Hotel which is situated on the rock escarpment overlooking Lake Manyara.
Dinner will be served at the hotel where you will also spend the night.


Day 2 : Serengeti National Park: FB
After breakfast, there will be a morning game drive in the Lake Manyara National Park. At the Park, you will likely see tree-climbing lions, gazelles, zebras  as well as a huge variety of birds.
Lunch will be at the Hotel and there after, you will drive to the Serengeti where your days will be spent exploring the plains. The Serengeti is well known because of the wildebeest migration that starts from the Serengeti and proceeds to the Masai Mara.
Dinner and overnight will be at the Serengeti Sopa Lodge.


Day 3: Serengeti National Park : FB
Start the morning with breakfast followed by a drive out into the Serengeti. Birders can spend hours spotting the huge variety of bird species overhead and in the open plains. The Serengeti has a wide variety of game as well as scintillating landscapes.
Lunch will be served at the lodge and afterwards, you can relax & stay cool in the midday heat before venturing back into the plains for an afternoon game drive.
Dinner and overnight will be at the lodge.
 

Day 4: Olduvai Gorge & Ngorongoro Crater: FB
After breakfast you head towards Olduvai Gorge to view the archaeological fossil fragments believed to be the ancestors of present day man. After a picnic lunch you will continue on to the Ngorongoro Crater where you will be staying at the Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge.
Dinner will be served at the lodge.
 


Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater: FB
Ngorongoro Crater has been named a ‘World Heritage Site’ and is a protected reserve. A large number of resident game can be found within the crater due to the permanent water source found within the forested crater walls.
After breakfast, spend the day within the crater enjoying game viewing and the breath taking views of the crater.
All meals and overnight stay will be at the lodge.



Day 6: Stone Town, Zanzibar : HB
You will depart from Ngorongoro  after breakfast and head to Arusha, where you will enjoy lunch before catching a regional flight to Zanzibar.
In Zanzibar your first night will be spent in Stone Town, with an opportunity to explore this historical city. While in Zanzibar, you'll be staying at the Tembo Hotel.
It is recommended that you have dinner in one of the many restaurants within the vicinity of the Hotel. This will give you a chance to enjoy the Swahil delicacies that Zanzibar is well known for in the region.


Day 7: Zanzibar Beach: FB
You will be transferred to Mapenzi Beach Club, where you will stay for the next 3 nights. This is the perfect end to a safari as you relax and laze away the days on the white beaches or in the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean.


Day 8: Zanzibar Beach : FB
After breakfast you have the option of lying on the beach or making use of the facilities offered at Mapenzi, such as playing tennis, snorkelling or relaxing in the Jacuzzi.

Day 9: Zanzibar Beach: FB
Have breakfast and prepare yourself for an optional morning or afternoon scuba dive. Just off the shores of Zanzibar lie numerous coral reefs, home to many colourful tropical fish. You can spend hours exploring the underwater world and its inhabitants. Relax for the rest of the day.


Day 10: Departure : B
This morning you will be transferred to Zanzibar Airport and head to Arusha for your onward travel arrangements.
